Original German WWI M16/17 Helmet Shell Size 64-
This is an original German WWI M16/17 helmet shell, size 64, that was post-war repainted in apple green and had SS decals applied, though they are mostly removed. The interior rim is stamped K64. The helmet is missing one chinstrap lug bolt, which can be easily replaced with a set available on eBay. Other than this, the shell is in excellent condition, making it a solid candidate for restoration. A great project piece to restore to its original wartime appearance.
